Last March, my friend Halie and I went on a photowalk, and our first stop was the University of Santo Tomas in Manila City. It's the oldest university in the Philippines (and Asia, I think), and we just want to take pictures of its great architecture and other scenic spots.
This is just one of the many pictures I took from the university. The main building had these statues on the rooftop, and as I look up, I saw some sunrays. I am such a big fan of that - I love seeing the sunlight bursting from the clouds, so I zoomed in and took a shot. It was against the light, making the statues darker.
It was a fun walk... hoping that my next visit to the university, I can take pictures at night time - I am told it was spectacular, especially that they are about to host the Paskuhan (Christmas Festival) in the days to come.
