F - Frog

27/365 - Ribbit!

Wow... it felt like I've been gone for a long, long, time! Having no PC to use for two weeks really brought me down, but I am glad to be back. PC's still not 100%, there were still problems left and right, but I can live with this - at least I got something to use.

I missed two episodes of ABC Wednesday, and it's now Letter F. I am sharing animals for this round, and here's my F... a frog. I captured this picture using my Sony Ericsson K800i cell phone, and this came as a surprise, I remember I was about to hang the clothes out to air, when I saw this little frog. I set my cell phone to sepia that time - just to minimize the icky part of the image - and I really liked how this came out. My cell phone's camera can be set to macro, but I really had to put the lens as close as possible, and I am happy the critter was a willing model for the shoot, and it didn't jump for the whole time while I was taking pictures.

More animals next week on ABC Wednesday. Happy midweek, everyone!

Thanks for reducing the icky part of the frog. I am not too fond of them, since they can screech something terrible when caught by a cat (usually mine). It really goes right through you. Your photo looks great though...

That's a great photo, especially for a phone. I have a Sony Ericsson too, and I think they're better than average cameras maybe.

I like frogs. And I like the sepia treatment, too!

I love the texture of the photo! And the sepia tone really captures the detail well. A cell phone? Amazing.

When I look at the picture I think it is huge, then I read and find out it is a cute little frog. :) I like it, and I am glad you were able to snap it as you did.
