We have a hibiscus plant, which gives us beautiful flowers, but it has also attracted a whole lot of ants and other insects. The plant itself is ant infested, but instead of feeling icky about it, I saw it as a chance for me to take pictures of the ants.
Doing the shoot was tricky as I am only using a point and shoot camera. It also didn't help that these little critters would walk and run nonstop, so at most times my camera is already focused - the shutter half-pressed - so when the ants pass by, I would just click my shutter and see what I captured.
A very painstaking task, but as any photographer would tell, the rewards will always be priceless and sweet.

It may have been painstaking, but the result is fantastic! Well done...
Nice work with the point and shoot camera!
Great results with your point and shoot. I love mine--I can switch to macro with the touch of a button--no changing lenses needed.
Nice result for a point and shoot camera..
