I never knew the name of this flower is dianthus. When my sister and I went to Baguio City in 2008, we stayed some hours in Burnham Park, and because there were a lot of flowers around the park, I took pictures of the flowers. At that time, I only had my cell phone as my medium in capturing images, but I was really fortunate that the cell phone I chose had the macro function, so I was able to take pictures well enough to create a depth of field.

I love dianthus (also known as pinks). They come back every year.

Beautiful! I used to have some of these but they fled to other places, I guess.
I've wondered what the name was. Vibrant colors.
Great capture and I love the vibrant color.
This looks a bit like the flower that I know as a 'Sweet William'. I like your depth of field. It makes the Dianthus stand out even more.
Hi Jenn! Tnx for voting on my poll! As always I'm loving your photographs, you really got talent!
