This picture was one of the many pictures I took from my very recent trip to La Union. On our second day, my friend (and neighbor) Ria and I were about to do some church hopping when I saw this plant in one of the open lots in the neighborhood. I thought this would be a good subject for Ruby Tuesday, so I stopped for a while to capture it. The flower was a bit difficult to focus using my p&s camera, so it wasn't as sharp as I hope it would be.
I don't know the name of the plant, but I do like the vibrant red petals.
