

Something I took last June, this picture was originally shot in color, and processed through GIMP to make all else in b/w, except the bug. I uploaded this picture as part of my June 2010 photo hunt pictures (black and white with selective coloring).
Before I learned how to do this technique, I was always amazed to see images with selective coloring. It was a bit tricky to do it - especially if you have a lot of things to select, but I found it really rewarding. I was thankful that I have learned to do this... now images I upload aren't as flat as they used to be.
