Pagkatapos ng isang araw ng pagbisita sa iba't ibang simbahan sa Iloilo, ginugol namin ni K ang aming ikatlong araw sa pagbisita sa mga ilang lugar malapit sa aming hotel. Nauna na naming nai-planong pumunta sa Guimaras sa araw na ito, ngunit minabuti naming ikansela at sa halip ay mag-concentrate na lamang sa mga lugar sa Iloilo.
{After a full day of visiting different churches in Iloilo, K and I used our third day in visiting places near our hotel. We first planned of going to Guimaras on this day, but we decided to cancel it and just concentrate on the places in Iloilo.}
Malapit lamang ang Museo Iloilo sa aming hotel, kaya naisip naming dumaan dito bago kami mananghalian. Mga alas-onse pa lamang ng umaga, ngunit pagdating namin sa museo, siya namang pagsara ng pintuan. Sabi ng staff, lunch break na raw nila, at nang makita namin ang karatula, may kaunting hinayang at inis sa amin dahil mga alas dos pa ito muli magbubukas. Tatlong oras na lunch break. Medyo matagal at bagama't medyo naging sarkastiko si K sa pagsabing kaya namang kumain ng pananghalian sa loob ng tatlumpung minuto, naintindihan naman niya ang mga patakaran.
{The Museo Iloilo is just near the hotel, so before eating lunch, we decided to check it first. It was just around 11AM, and the soonest time we got there, the staff just closed and locked the door, saying they were already closed for lunch. When we checked the schedule printed near the door, we got sad that the museum will open at 2PM. Three hours of lunch break. That is quite a long time, and even if K got a bit sarcastic and told the staff lunch can be eaten in thirty minutes, he did understand the rules.}
Hindi na kami nakabalik kinahapunan dahil bumisita na kami sa ibang lugar, at bagama't bumalik kami kinabukasan, hindi na rin kami pumasok sa loob dahil may isang klase sa elementarya ang nag-field trip, at bawal ring kumuha ng litrato sa loob. Hmmmm.... pwede naman, pero kailangang magbayad ng p500, at hindi namin iyon nagustuhan. Sumilip na lamang kami sa may bintana upang kahit papaano ay masabi naming nakita namin ang museo.
