Paper Daisies

Everlasting

Macro Monday Today's Flowers

My photo share this week is an image of Paper Daisies, which is also known as Strawflower. Here in the Philippines, it is widely known as Everlasting because it pretty much looks the same even when it is already wilted, especially the deep orange ones. I took this picture from a garden shop in La Trinidad, Benguet... where most flowers and vegetables are cultivated.

I edited this picture by selecting the flower, yet my mind was thinking maybe I should have included the stem, too. What do you think?

I like the selective coloring you've chosen as it is with the focus on the multi-colored petals.
The colors are so intense. It's perfect. Bravo!
Love the bright colors against the monotone!!

I think it's wonderful the way it is, but adding the stem would also be fine. Love the contrasts in color and black and white.

Gorgeous! I love the vibrant colors. I think it works fine without the stem included.
