Last year, brother and I went to dad's hometown in Bacnotan, La Union to take part of "palagip," a prayer ceremony wherein the family prayed for all the departed loved ones. Our dad was one of those whom we offered the prayers to, and a day after the actual prayer ceremony, we prepared lunch for the prayer warriors.
One of the dishes cooked was the pancit (a noodle dish), and my aunt always add slices of spring onions or leeks to her pancit, and she asked brother to prepare some of the ingredients needed. I just came in the kitchen after taking pictures outside the house, so I also took pictures of brother while cutting up the spring onions.

Hi! Welcome to Round Robin. Very nice photo of your food preparation!
Hi, Jenn, and welcome to the Robins! I like your first entry for the RRPC very much, the way you get so much depth into the shot with the middle distance in focus and the rest of it less so. Nicely done! And now I'm curio0us about the palagip ceremony....
I love to add spring onions to my cooking , even as garnishing. Nice perspective of your photo, hope to see more of your photos in the upcoming challenges.
Welcome! Love the shot of those onions--so clear and pretty. I also enjoyed seeing some of your other photos, too.
Hi Jenn, welcome to the RRC :)
Super shot, I love the composition, vivid green and the small depth of field. Very nicely done.
