The Lone Tree

For this week on the nature section of the Weekday Photos, the theme was "Lonely Tree," and I couldn't find any more suiting photo but this one, which I took last year (sorry, I wasn't able to change the namestamp to 2009) when my brother and thought of making a side trip to the Thunderbird Resorts in San Fernando, La Union. Near the resort is the South China Sea, which gives a great view of the sunset, and before we left the resort, I saw this leafless tree and took one last shot before heading off.

To date, this is one of my favorite sunset shots.
