These were taken last February at the Panagbenga Festival in Baguio City. I was very happy that time because I was with my sister and that I was using my new camera (still point and shoot, but has 12x optical zoom). We were quite far from the road, but because of the zoom capabilities of my camera I was able to take pictures of the people clearly.

Quite a lot of groups joined the grand street parade, but most were elementary and high school students who not only wore traditional Igorot (the ethnic tribe in this part of the country) costumes, they also danced their traditional dance to honor their roots.

Oh, street festivals are always so much fun. I love how you were able to capture even the smallest beads in their hair. Great shot!
